‘Of Gods And Men’ are a band of four journeymen with vast experience in numerous bands and genres. They collectively they create a post punk revival sound with hints of grunge and goth. 

They hail from south coast of England and are led by Mike Grogan. What's the sound and inspiration? well from everywhere and everything, but especially think Spear of Destiny, Comsat Angels, Nick Cave, The Sound, Echo and the Bunnymen with a bit of Joe Strummer thrown into the mix!

'Of Gods And Men' recorded their debut album 'The Stare' live in the studio and take this level of musicianship and their powerful songs into their live performances.

Vocals, guitar and songwriter Mike Grogan has fronted many bands and his roots remain firmly in punk and post punk. Pete Blackler, the keyboard player and backing vocalist, is classically trained and is more rooted in eighties in both goth and new wave. Vern Grech is the band’s bassman and backing vocalist. Vern has roots in prog rock which you can hear in some of his sublime bass parts.  But his edgy bass sound and strong riffs drive the songs into the post punk revival sphere. The ultimate power in ‘Of Gods And Men’ comes from drummer Gabor Pongracz. Gabor, who hails from Hungary,  has previously played in metal bands which brings another exciting dynamic to the band.
